Busy bank holiday for Team Angell starting on Saturday with some viewings for houses to buy in Cornwall.
The first was a big fat no, but the second we loved!! It wasn't really the plan to buy the second house we properly viewed.......
It is a bit over budget though, and there is another couple interested, so we're trying not to get our hopes up - I won't say any more about it yet in case it comes to nothing. Going for a second viewing this weekend, but we'll also be looking at a couple of others too. Watch this space!
In between viewings, we made a couple of pit stops. We didn't have nearly long enough at the gorgeous Golitha Falls, definitely one to return to. Also stuck our noses in to the famous Jamaica Inn, quirky but super touristy!
Sunday we headed over to the Merton Vintage & Classic Vehicle Rally It was an absolutely scorching day so very busy with a great atmosphere. Dart is now nearly four months old, and this is his third classic car show ;)

Mid afternoon, we headed a bit further up towards the coast to the super quaint village of Clovelly. If you haven't heard of it, Clovelly is a traditional but unusual village in North Devon which has no cars, and no individually owned houses. The admission fees are, I think, a bit steep at £7.50 per adult- but since we arrived quite late on a Sunday afternoon, we were only charged £4 for parking. It's a gorgeous walk down the cobbled streets to the impressive quay. A little tougher on the way back, but we stopped for a drink in the pub to soften the blow ;)

As there had been a fair bit of car time for the previous two days, we decided that super-sunny bank holiday Monday would be spent on foot! Armed with food and plenty of water we set off over Dartmoor on a circular walk to Belstone, a neighbouring village.

Good thing there's a decent pub in Belstone, thank you the Tors Inn for much needed refreshment and shade!
