Despite dodgy weather, we managed to get out and about, enjoying Andy being off for the long weekend. Plenty of chocolate and wine consumption were of course part of the activities!
Good Friday we had a nice wander from home. The three of us nearly ended up in the river after I had a stepping stone fail. I always have stepping stone fails ;)
Dart met some new lambs and some Shetland ponies.

The lamb has a tiny rain coat on!

At last some signs of spring, daffodils are popping up everywhere in our garden. Daffodils remind me of my lovely late Granddad so always make me smile.

Saturday, after a successful trip to the vets for more jabs, we drove over to the North Coast and enjoyed a bit of the beautiful Widemouth Bay.
Also enjoyed super tasty Cornish pasties eaten warm on the beach. Dart loved his first seaside experience and we can't wait to take him back soon. We sneaked onto this gorgeous part of the beach on the last day that dogs are allowed - but the next bit along is dog friendly all year round.

Sunday we headed right in to the middle of Dartmoor, parked at Two Bridges (which has come on a bit since this bleak description from the 1800's!) and had a walk followed by the obligatory pint in the pub.
Andy and Dart laughing at someone else have a dog versus stile disaster ;)

Monday it rained and we all got muddy and soaked. Dart manfully endured a bath and made the most of cuddles to get warm and dry.

It was an exciting but tiring weekend for puppies - hope you all had a good one too!
