Phew - feels like that was a long time coming.

You might remember I mentioned in an earlier post that we had our slightly cheeky offer on our house accepted on the condition that we were happy to delay our completion date a couple of months. So we have agreed to complete on October 2nd and we'll be moving, again, that week. This is the LAST time, this is going to be our home for life. We've been waiting for this for nearly eight years and we are SO EXCITED!
Our new home is just outside a village called Blisland in Cornwall which I wrote a bit about in a previous post.
Other super exciting news for my lovely Andy - he's secured a fabulous new job based in Newquay (about 20 minutes from our new home). He'll be starting that in October too - very proud of my brilliant husband :)
It was wonderful to be able to celebrate with Andy's daughter and her young man who came to visit for a long weekend.

I'll probably be in trouble for putting up this picture (sorry!) but we had a great time. This was on a long walk with Dart. We also took them to see our new house and had lunch at the Blisland Inn followed by a trip to Newquay via Andy's new office (he hasn't got a sea view so we can't be too jealous!)
We decided to take the little Okehampton train to Exeter and spent the day exploring the city including a tasty lunch at the Ship Inn (frequented by Sir Francis Drake no less) and a surprisingly good 'Oddities and Curiosities' walking tour
They will both be getting their A-Level results soon, so keeping our fingers crossed they get what they need - new adventures over the next few months for all of us!
