6th March

Arranged to go and see the puppies this morning – Tash has got two dogs left. Bit excited!

They were indeed super cute. A working farm, they had a number of adult collies, Mum was a bit lively and apparently isn’t a fan of men since she’s had the pups, but Dad was a gentle soul. All the pups were still there and Tash kindly let us have a fun half hour playing with them all.

We didn’t decide there and then, but before we got home we’d stopped in town to call in to the vets for some practical advice, and picked up a few bits and pieces – decision made I think!

Here he is, we’re picking him up on the 14th.

Spent the afternoon starting to clear the garden, clearly hasn’t been looked after for a long time and founds all sorts including lots of builders rubbish – unfortunately there’s lots of bits of glass which won’t be good for our furry friend when he arrives.

We also put together spare room/office for Andy and then were totally knackered so decided to go to the pub for some tea and a couple of drinks and use their wifi for a couple of hours. Got a message through that our little nephew had an accident at nursery and cut his head open and went off to hospital in an ambulance. Poor chap looked very sorry for himself in the pics my brother sent, but he’s been glued together and is home being fussed over!

Started looking for collie puppy dog names – not as easy as I thought it would be....
